Low cost paddy winnower(2012)Phase I

Paddy winnowing is a time consuming process and it requires more women workers. Currently there is lack of workers for the traditional activities connected with paddy cultivation. Different types of winnowers are available for large scale farmers. We have developed a paddy winnower with low cost with simple modifications. A paddy winnower with modification by fixing an exhaust fan has been developed and also has been marketed among paddy farmers.
